Concert 2017

Our second concert, Lamentations of Spain took place on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Bellevue, WA. Below you will find links to photos, programs, and samples from the concert.

(Background: “La Lamentation sur le Christ mort” by Sandro Boticelli)

The music selections in Lamentations of Spain were all written by Spanish composers, and are all settings of various texts from the Lamentations of Jeremiah.

Almost all of the music from this concert was downloaded from the wonderful site — you should definitely check it out if you like Spanish Renaissance music!
